Problem of Robert Sanchez at Chelsea:
Robert Sanchez have been a very bad problem for Chelsea in recent times. Against Manchester United, Chelsea were the better team all along. The Blues were always supposed to win. Chelsea have been a powerhouse in the Premier League this season. However, Chelsea have been facing a lot of problems as well. This is because, Robert Sanchez have been performing very bad since the last few games for Chelsea.
Diogo Costa have been the best goalkeeper for Portugal national team this season. Chelsea is looking forward to sign this good goalkeeper to replace Robert Sanchez. He have conceded a lot of goals as well as lot of penalties in the Premier League. I mean honestly, even Onana is better than him at this point. Chelsea should sell him right away. No-one really knows why he was even given so many chances after all. Robert Sanchez were never supposed to be the first choice goalkeeper.
Why Chelsea should sign Diogo Costa?
Petrovic is supposed to be the first choice goalkeeper for Chelsea. I know he is not really a world class player but at the same time he is still better than Robert Sanchez at least. The Goalkeeper have been a disaster for Chelsea. Robert Sanchez literally made a bad howler against Manchester United which made Enzo Maresca decide about him. He was a very good goalkeeper in his previous club. However, he failed to perform for the Blues. He was too bad for Chelsea. Todd Boehly was another problem here because he signed too many players. The American signed at least 32 players for Chelsea. Most of them are not getting their deserved play time as well. Chelsea are looking forward to sign Diogo Costa for a fee of €70 million.
The Chelsea officials have already signed a lot of players who are young and talented as well. The best example have to be Mike Penders. Chelsea have been too fast with their signings as well. Diogo Costa have been performing very well consistently for Portugal as well. The Blues have become a powerhouse in the Premier League now. Chelsea also are one of the best clubs of the Premier League. The London Club should be the best option for Diogo Costa to land in. It will be very good for him to prove how good he is in Chelsea. Robert Sanchez was given a lot of chances but he still underperformed.
How Diogo Costa performs?
Diogo Costa also performed very bad at first. After a few matches for Portugal, he changed and became a better player. He performed very well for Portugal as well. Chelsea will improve a lot if they sign him. The Portuguese have been very good for the International team entirely as well. He did a lot of mistakes in the beginning. However, after that he changed a lot.
He will make sure to improve even more for Chelsea. The players are out there for Chelsea, but too many. The problem arises about whom will Chelsea start? Diogo Costa had made several good saves for Portugal. In the international match he saved a lot of shots and penalties as well. He made Portugal stay in the Euros. After Ronaldo missed his penalty, he made sure that Portugal stays and try to win the UEFA Euros. You know the goalkeeper have to be good if Ronaldo is impressed by him.
