Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has clarified his intentions about his future in the team. The Briton is managing the position since 2005.

Amidst the rumors surrounding the future of Christian Horner, the Red Bull boss has made it clear that he has no intentions of stepping down just yet.

Horner became the boss back in 2005 when Red Bull took over from the Jaguar team after leaving his Arden F3000 team at the end of 2004.

The Briton has since led the team to five World Drivers championships accompanied by four Constructors Championships.

Horner is extremely proud of the journey the team had and he is not done yet. Horner affirms that he still feels like it is his first day in the office. And the hunger to win is still there.

“This is my 18th season in charge of the team and I’m just as motivated today as I was on the first day that I attended the first race back in 2005,”

he told in an interview.

“It’s always about the next race, the next event, the next season and you’re always looking forward in this sport. You never get time to look backwards.”

Horner then dropped a hint on Red Bull – Porsche partnership in 2026:

“It’s exciting times, it feels like an exciting time for the team as well with the power unit coming on stream, so I’m fully motivated,”

added Horner.

Red Bull leads both the championships this season and looks in a strong position to win both of them. Max Verstappen leads title rival Charles Leclerc by a whopping 80 points coming into Belgian GP. On the other hand, Red Bull holds off Ferrari with a strong lead of 97 points.
