Possible lineup for Manchester City against Chelsea
Manchester City will start their title-defending season against Chelsea in their opening match of the new Premier League season. It seems like there is no change of Erling Haaland, and Jeremy Doku in the attacking section. New signing Savinho looked good in the match against Manchester United, after coming later as a substitute player. The Brazilian could start for the City against Chelsea.
In the attacking midfield zone players like Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva could start. In case these three players start for the City, the attacking sections can be changed involving Doku and Savinho. There should not be any drastic change in the backline as Pep Guardiola is likely to go with the same backline. Pep Guardiola went with three of the senior defender options in the Community Shield final including Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, and Gvardiol. Young Rico Lewis served as a right-back for the citizens in the match. Now the question is will Pep Guardiola go with the same backline or any further changes will be made? And, obviously, Ederson is fixed on the goal. So, this could be a possible lineup for Manchester City against new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, when they will face each other on Sunday.
