Cole Palmer was not sure of Chelsea move
The 22-year-old spoke about his transfer dilemma to GQ Magazine. He would go on to reveal that he was sure of leaving Man City. Particularly because he could not see himself playing for them soon enough. But, at the same time, he was not sure that he wanted to join Chelsea. Cole Palmer credits his manager to push him for the move. Since joining, the 22-year-old would quickly break into the starting XI. Then, he would grow and quickly become a key player for the Blues.

The midfielder would go on to enjoy a record-breaking debut season for the Blues. His numbers were simply incredible. As per transfermarkt, he would go on to secure 40 G/A in 45 appearances in his first season for the club. As a result, he would win many awards and accolades. At the same time, he would be a part of the England national team too. The good thing is Cole Palmer has managed to bring his A-game this season too. He already has 12 goal involvements in 13 appearances this season. He has the potential to cement his legacy and become one of the best players ever for Chelsea.
