Eden Hazard’s Stunning Revelation: The Manager Who Transformed His Chelsea Career Revealed!

Ex-Chelsea icon Eden Hazard reveals the best manager he played under during his time in London. The former Blues star said that his best football did not necessarily coincide with when he had the most enjoyable experience on the training ground.

The Belgian did play under a lot of elite managers like Maurizio Sarri, Jose Mourinho and Roberto De Matteo. However, it was none of them he believes who got the best out of him.

Antonio Conte: The man getting the best of Eden at Chelsea

Speaking on Obi One Podcast, the recently retired professional said that it was Antonio Conte whom he considers as the best he ever played under.

“My best time at Chelsea was with Antonio Conte. The training was bad all week, so I knew on Saturday I need to do something. I want to enjoy myself a little bit! I knew the day after I’d be back on the training ground! That’s why I was so good!”

It looks as if the respect between the Belgium international and Antonio Conte is mutual. The Italian also stated once that Hazard is one of the best he has ever managed during his lustrous career. The Blues won both the Premier League and the FA Cup in the two-year tenure he spent in West London. However, his time at the club was cut short after failing to qualify for the Champions League that season.

Conte then went on to manage their city-rivals Tottenham Hotspur, a spell that Conte will more likely wish to forget. During his time with Lilywhites, he was not very impressive and was sacked the last season. Nevertheless, Chelsea are still struggling under Mauricio Pochettino with some patches of good works. They currently sit at the mid of the table but have a chance to secure a silverware at the end of the week against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
