Chelsea star N’golo Kante could now completely unlock Enzo Fernandez, according to journalist Simon Phillips. N’golo Kante who has been out through injury will be back to first-team action after the Internation break. Now sitting in 10th place with 38 points, Chelsea hopes to get into Europe next season.

Phillips is excited by the prospect of Kanté linking up with Fernández in the middle of the park.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said:

Having him alongside Enzo Fernández would do wonders for Enzo. It will allow him to play a lot freer knowing he’s got Kanté there alongside him winning the ball back and putting the tackles in and putting in the hard work so he can be the creative spark.

The N’golo Kante-Enzo Fernandez pivot

According to ESPN, Potter believes to find a solution for Chelsea’s midfield. The manager explains that Kante and Fernandez can make a partnership in the pitch. Their style of play can complement each other role in the team very well.

Chelsea doesn’t have the time in experimenting with their squad as they are going through a disastrous run. But the pairing looks like an absolute genius move in the paper.

Frankly speaking, the Kante-Fernandez pairing can play a pivotal role in Chelsea’s near future. With Kante’s experience, he can help young Fernandez to sharpen and bolster his skills. Both are capable match-winners on their given day but it will be interesting to see how well they can work together.

N’golo Kante enters into his final year at Chelsea

N’Golo Kante is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chelsea Football Club in the Premier League. He joined Chelsea in 2016 from Leicester, who had just won the Premier League title, and quickly established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.

According to 90min, while Paris Saint-Germain are in contact with the 31-year-old’s representatives over a transfer, the Blues are confident that they’ll agree an extension with him.

His existing deal expires at the end of the season, meaning that PSG will be able to pick him up for free if he doesn’t sign a fresh deal at Chelsea.
