Enzo Maresca demands Chelsea that they need a good striker in the summer transfer window if they want to challenge for the Premier League title.
Chelsea trying to challenge for the Premier League title:
Chelsea are looking forward to challenge for the title race in the next season. They were also on the top of the Premier League table for some time this season. However, they became really inconsistent after several matches. The Blues are now fourth in the Premier League under Nottingham Forest at the moment. Nicolas Jackson is Chelsea’s main striker this season. He has already scored nine goals for Chelsea this season as well. Most of the goal scoring of Chelsea is done by Cole Palmer.
Enzo Maresca says Chelsea needs a good striker:
Marc Guiu is a great player. However, he is still really young as well. Christopher Nkunku acts as a number 10 for Enzo Maresca in the team. Nicolas Jackson have also faced a lot of criticism because he is not really a prolific striker as well. Many strikers were also linked by Chelsea in the January Transfer Window. Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and also Victor Osimhen. They are really great players who have been linked to Chelsea. However, their deal did not go through for Chelsea. Former Blues right back, Paul Parker, says that Chelsea needs a good striker. He said Nicolas Jackson is a really good player and works really hard as well. However, he believes that Chelsea still needs an upgrade for the team. Parker said that Chelsea needs a striker who can take them forward and win matches as well.
Author’s Opinion:
I also think that Chelsea needs a good striker who can score more goals. A prolific striker can take the team to the next level and make them win the title as well. Chelsea fans are happy with Enzo Maresca. However the team can even get better once they sign a good striker in the next Transfer Window.
