It seems the current young sensation Erling Haaland might have a verbal agreement for signing with Real Madrid next summer. The young Norwegian forward break into the top charts since joining Borussia Dortmund back in January 2020. Playing his debut game Haaland scored a hattrick as he came off the bench and led Dortmund to victory.
And since then all the top European clubs have seen the rise of a prolific forward following which they have written Haaland’s name in their transfer list. Last year there were many clubs lined up to sign the youngster but Dortmund was not even slightly interested to let him leave so soon. And he stayed on for the German side developing and keeping his name on the scoresheet.
The same thing happened this summer as some of the top European clubs knocked on Dortmund’s door for signing Haaland. While Chelsea also reportedly offered a huge price of €170 million for the youngster this summer. But despite that, the German side hanged a not-for-sale board for Erling Haaland. As a result, the forward will continue with Borussia Dortmund this season.
But moving forward to next summer things might change as a €75 million release clause will be triggering for Haaland. And with that all the big money clubs will line up to get Haaland’s signature. However, as per the mentioned report, Erling Haaland might have a verbal agreement with Real Madrid for transferring next season.
We don’t know how much of it’s true but Haaland to Real Madrid spice things up a little bit as the Spanish giants are also in the race for Kylian Mbappe. Saying that it will be interesting to see the young duo rule the footballing world. So, let’s wait and see what Real Madrid have planned for Haaland next summer.
What will Haaland bring to Real Madrid side?
It is almost clear that Kylian Mbappe will be joining Real Madrid next summer for free as his contract ends with PSG. While Madrid will be knocking on Mbappe’s door in January for making him sign a pre-agreement. Signing the Frenchman would give Los Blancos a strong playmaker in the left-wing as Eden Hazard failed to mark his presence.
But the main striker option is also up for replacement as Karim Benzema nears his career end due to his age. And in this situation Elring Haaland comes to work, the youngster has already shown us what he is capable of. As he has already scored 63 goals in 64 games while assisted 18. This stat is no joke that too for a 21-year-old. It is no doubt he is more than capable to lead Real Madrid from upfront and partnering with Mbappe it will be a deadly duo.
