Erling Haaland reportedly wants to leave Manchester City

Manchester City star Erling Haaland wants to leave the club after one season. Reports claim that the player is unhappy at the Etihad. Erling Haaland have registered 31 goals in 28 matches since joining Manchester City. He have already scored 25 goals in the Premier League itself. However, an investigation into City’s finances after the accusations have started the rumors. Furthermore, Joao Cancelo’s shocking transfer to Bayern Munich fueled rumors of problems in the City dressing room. This has started rumors of there being discomfort among the players. A Spanish news outlet have revealed that Erling Haaland is already questioning his move to Etihad. While another report have claimed that his relationship with the manager is on the rocks. The reports claim that there have been a crack in the relationship. Many have even claimed that the pair have a distant relationship.

Erling Haaland is considering an exit from Manchester City according to reports

Many reports continue to pile up stating the problem in the duo’s relationship. Former City player Dietmar Hamann has even claimed that Guardiola was not really interested in signing Erling Haaland. He said,

“I never thought he was going to go to City because he’s a player Guardiola never wanted.”

Furthermore, other reports have claimed that the relationship between them is “terrible” and that “change of scenery before his €200 million release clause activates in 2024.” Bernardo Silva could also leave Manchester City in the next couple of months. However many believe that Erling Haaland is considering an exit from Etihad. It is unlikely that Haaland would want to leave for a reason which could be solved in a few months. While joining the club the player had commented that he joined City to learn as he is still very young. Therefore it is unlikely to happen.

Manchester City would hate to lose Erling Haaland given his caliber. The player is still young and is continuing to break Premier League records.
