ESPN Pundit Reveals Surprising Manchester United Player Who Stole the Show Against Villa! Find Out Who Caught His Eye!

ESPN pundit Janusz Michalik delivers his judgement on the performance of one Manchester United star recently. The Red Devils picked up a boosting win over Aston Villa at Villa park last weekend. Moreover, this defeat will certainly cause a huge patch to the hopes for Unai Emery who was aiming for a top four finish.

Unsurprisingly, Rasmus Hojlund has been lauded after his performance against Villa. Meanwhile, Harry Maguire was superb in the victory. But there were several others who impressed for the visitors.

ESPN pundit lauds Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes has been a decisive figure for Erik Ten Hag’s side despite being goalless since November. However, speaking on ESPN, Janusz Michalik was lauding the Portuguese for his performances throughout the season. He said,

“If you’re interested in statistics, he’s by far the best player, Bruno Fernandes, if you’re looking through the season. If you watch that Villa game, he was quietly good. That’s what caught my attention actually, without knowing that this argument or this topic was going to come up.

Because I almost had to look for him, but when you did, he was just about everywhere where he needed to be, that sort of a playmaker that doesn’t have to do it all. He’s not only the playmaker, he keeps the rhythm of course.”

The Portuguese international has been hugely impressive for Old Trafford side in the recent years. His record of 71 goals and 61 assists in 217 games in all competitions is a remarkable record considering how poor United have been in the last few years. Though, the good news for the talisman is that more players are now stepping up and taking the responsibility for themselves.

This is a great news for the skipper who will be working for the upliftment of the club in the dark times. Although it may cause him going under the radar for some more games, but it will all be fine. Nevertheless, opposition sides will still be worried about him while facing Erik Ten Hag’s men.
