Arsenal‘s young teenage blood Ethan Nwaneri has been a blessing. This midfielder has been a great addition to the squad.
ETHAN NWANERI IS DESTINED TO BE TOP
This young talent is already on the records sheet. He was only 15 when he scored his first goal for Arsenal’s 3-0 win at Brentford in the 2022/23 season.
Arteta’s experiment on this particular youngster is proving more and more effective. Ethan has shown his prolific scoring ability and operating the midfield.
Ethan’s appearing at the moment when the midfield was down was what all Gunner fans needed. The youngster has now made quite an impact in the starting XI this season.
The 17-year-old, till now has made four appearances in the starting nine matches of Premier League.
After bagging three goals in the EFL Cup games, he has been doing a really good job in the midfield. The main attraction is the goal that he scored at Preston.
With the assist of Gabriel Jesus, Ethan scored the goal when he got the chance.
With a little flick of his shoulder, he smashed the ball into the top corner. Forest’s keeper still stood there, watching with disbelief.
However, after a good match, they still have to be cautious about the upcoming fixtures. Facing off the big teams can still be a huge problem for the Gunners.
Arteta has to prove his worth against the big ones. But, as far as the European stage is concerned, Real Madrid and Manchester City’s defense seem to be in trouble.
Alongside Bukayo Saka, he is the next project of the Arsenal academy. Other clubs like Man City, and Chelsea tried to take Ethan away from the club with higher wages. But, Arteta convinced him to stay.
Ethan‘s incredible flair and superb ball-striking ability have made him a star. This kid is destined to be top. His appearance during Arsenal’s EFL Cup victory over Preston has amazed Arteta.
WHY SO MUCH HYPE?
With good players, good management, and the right attitude he can be accustomed to the right tempo. Nwaneri has shone in the Premier League, along with the EFL Cup this season.
Now that Martin Odegaard, the main man of the midfield has returned, the youngster can be perfectly utilized in the starting XI.
At such a young age, Ethan is already being considered by some fans to start in the starting XI. Even if Odegaard misses some of the matches, the youngster can be considered as a backup.
When the Gunners faced off the Foxes at the Emirates in late September, they were already having a comfortable 2-0 lead.
It was Nwaneri who scored the required winner. Coming on in the 85th minute, he stunned the opposition by scoring a banger into the far corner, which had to be tipped away by Mads Hermansen.
His ball control and understanding of the game have peaked his performance. With Saka and Odegaard giving company, he has become an essential asset of Arsenal.
The performance of Ethan is not just caged in the Premier League. All over Europe he already has a market value of €12 million. It can be said that the price is set to rise.
Ethan is trailing behind only two U18 players who have scored five goals in the top 5 leagues: Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Bayern Munich’s Paul Wanner.
So, overall it can be said that Arsenal has found a gem in their backyard. This seems to be a wonderful day for the Arsenal fans. If he can maintain and become more mature and adapt to the gameplay and improve it. Maybe someday in the next decade, we can see a Premier League finally lifted by the Gunners.
