Under the new manager Christophe Galtier, PSG are keen to move on players that are burdening their wage bill.
Idrissa Gueye was also under fire for reportedly refusing to wear a rainbow number shirt in the support of gay rights. His move to the French club has been underwhelming. The club reportedly prefers a loan deal, for now, to deal with Financial fair play issues and stretch the already less budget.
WHY ARE THE TOFFEES DESPERATE TO SIGN THE MIDFIELDER
The midfielder is surely past his best. He is not the force he was when he left Everton and the Premier League. The club could also do with some younger blood who can race around the pitch and control the midfield. However, the fans do not agree with the opinions. Some reports claim, he would be a popular figure among the fans. The fans are keen to have an improved season under Frank Lampard.
During his time at Everton, Gueye was described as an amazing player by Morgan Schneiderlin. He said, “Gana is just amazing in what he does. Before you could see his main point was getting the ball back, but now he likes to drive forward with the ball and take people on.“It is a pleasure for me to play alongside him.”He seems to have the same opinion as the fans. When he was at Goodison Park, the fans wanted him to stay at the club till the end of his career.
