Exclusive Interview: Tim Sherwood Drops Bombshell on Manchester United’s Manager!

Former Premier League manager Tim Sherwood issues his verdict on one Manchester United figure. Sherwood believes that the manager Erik Ten Hag maybe chopped off at the end of this season.

The Red Devils saw a halt to their five game winning run against Fulham last weekend at Old Trafford. Despite the arrival of INEOS, there is still a lot of progress yet to be made. It will definitely be a surprise if the Dutchman continues his tenure as the coach. Now, Sherwood has gone even a step ahead of it.

Sherwood believes Manchester United have already made the decision

The former Tottenham boss believes that the corridors of power at Manchester have already made up their minds for the dismissal. Speaking to No Tippy Tappy Football, he says

“I think Manchester United have made their decision on their manager, whatever happens between now and the end of the season. He’s going to go, isn’t he. He’s had two years of it and he’s not improved anyone. They’re in a desperate position in the league. And I think they will get rid of him and make a decision.”

It should be noted that David Ornstein recently suggested that INEOS had been impressed by ten Hag. So perhaps he does still have an opportunity to prove to Sir Jim Ratcliffe that he is the right man to take the club forward. Moreover, the fans have seen a bunch of managers coming and failing at the club.

Therefore, sacking of Ten Hag may not be an ideal solution for the betterment of Red Devils. Instead, they must identify and focus on the problems from their roots and try to resolve that. Some, including Sherwood, may think ten Hag is one of those who cannot stay much longer.
