English Premier League

Former icons Roy Keane and Gary Neville have given their predictions for a the upcoming Manchester Derby. The two Manchester sides will lock horns in a fierce rivalry on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s men are on a fine run of results, having won their last three fixtures and one point off the top. On the other hand, Erik Ten Hag’s brigade stumbled in the league last time out, a 1-0 home defeat to Fulham ending their previous good run. Moreover, the Red Devils will be without the services of Rasmus Højlund. The striker picked up a muscle injury against Luton Town in the Premier League match.

The two sides will be marching to the game after victories in their FA Cup fixtures. Although, the Sky Blues have a better chance of winning. Man City won 3-0 in the reverse Premier League fixture at Old Trafford. Furthermore, they are currently 15 points ahead of Man United in the league. Speaking on The Overlap, Keane said,

“3-1. Let’s go 3-1 City.”

In reply to this, Gary Neville said

I was going to say 3-1. It’s probably about right. I’d like to have United with a goal, to be fair… just something! I’ve not predicted United will lose on this yet.”

Keane then mocks by saying,

“They could bottle it, you never know!”

It is currently a very dilapidated business state for the Red Devils as their former stars are predicting a smooth victory for Cityzens. However, one can never be firm in football as it is always unpredictable and surprises fans. City have let the odd result slip this season, with five draws and three losses in the league this term. Keep a check on the scoreline on Sunday!
