Exclusive: Tottenham’s Transfer Saga Unveiled – Director Hints at Jaw-Dropping Price for New Target!

Tottenham Hotspur may spend more than enough on Viktor Djukanovic as per Hammarby director. Mikael Hjelmberg has been speaking in Sweden amid mounting interest in the signature of wonderkid Viktor Djukanovic.

Clubs like Genoa, Bologna and PSV Eindhoven are keen on getting his signature alongside Tottenham. Moreover, Johan Lange was talked up as the big influence in Tottenham’s pursuit of Djukanovic and Hammarby’s stance has now been shared.

Hammarby chief clears his stance on Viktor and Tottenham saga

Sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg has said that Djukanovic is absolutely not for sale but a huge offer may be tempting for the winger. However, he believes that £5m will not be enough to attract the Swedish out of his current club. Mikael said,

He is absolutely not and I have been quite clear about that as well, at the same time that everything has its price. Should there be a rudely good offer, we will have to evaluate it in any case. I don’t really want to say. But 5–6 million euros is not enough.

You have a player in this as well who has ambitions, who wants to go to Europe. We also understand that he will not remain in Hammarby for three years. There will be a transfer, it’s just about the timing.”

Dane Lange became the director at North London earlier this season but has shown his marketing skills since then. The arrival of Radu Dragusin is one of the prime examples of it. Besides this, the addition of Lucas Bergvill in the upcoming summer is also a great business by him.

Djukanovic only joined Hammarby from Buducnost Podgorica in early 2023 but has shown huge potential with 13 goals in 34 appearances. The Lilywhites will weigh up an offer for him in the summer but a loan move to Sweden will also be a better option for player.
