FC Copenhagen star says that he will love to play in a Chelsea outfit in future

Newcastle United vs Chelsea

FC Copenhagen man claims that he will love to play for Chelsea in future. Copenhagen youngster Roony Bardghji is a huge admirer of the Blues and wishes to wear the outfit. Although Chelsea are really struggling at the moment, but the Blues still look to have their appeal. The 18-year old was speaking about the sparking interest of Stamford Bridge in him. The Evening Standard reported last month about Chelsea adding Roony in their target list. Though Bardghji is not in England yet but has already punished one Premier League club. He scored in Copenhagen’s 4-3 win against Manchester United in the Champions League earlier this season.

On being asked about the interests from Barcelona and Chelsea, the Swedish said,

“I feel ready, but when it will be, whether it is now or later, I don’t know. Right now, I’m focusing on getting in top shape and playing football. Then we have to see what happens.

It’s a dream. It’s always great to hear about something like this, because it means you’re doing well. But I try not to think about it too much. It is special, but it’s not something that stresses me out. I just take the positive in it and see it as motivation. This means I have to continue as I am doing and, of course, try to do it even better.”

Since the arrival of Todd Boehly, the Blues are investing in young talents building a squad for future. The wide man has scored seven goals in 17 league appearances in the current campaign. He is certainly one individual Chelsea should have on their radar, and it does look like that is the case.
