Barcelona might be already looking to replace Lewandowski. With Kane, Osimhen, Alvarez, Vlahovic and Guirassy on the wishlist.
Harry Kane
Kane has a unique set of skills among European players. Namely his experience, goal scoring talent, and leadership qualities. In the case of nowhere, the present-day English captain’s performance in the goal area will be a doubt, whether at Bayern Munich or Tottenham.
The stats will be in his favor as well. Although, there is an reported swap deal that could happen next summer. Barca’s search for the perfect number nine is in full swing. They aim to build for the future without their Polish icon Robert Lewandowski.
In the meantime, Kane is said to be very much willing to experience a new club. On the other hand, Barca is one of the clubs that is showing keen interest in the striker.
Victor Osimhen
Currently, Osimhen is playing for Galatasaray. He spent a great period with Napoli, which made him visible to Barca because of his physical as well as scoring skills. The Nigerian international is now at his peak and scores regularly for both his club and country.
His fast counter-attacks and brave fights for the ball reflect his active playing style which fits in with Barca’s offensive ideas. The club admires his physical strength and his knack for decisive moments in big matches. These are the traits every top striker needs at Camp Nou.
Julian Alvarez
There’s a lot of buzz out there in European football circles about what Bara is up to in relation to Alvarez as well. He is the talented young man from Argentina that gets transferred from Atletico. However, the good positioning, composure, and flair in the attacking phase of play all map nicely to modern day Barca.
Alvarez’s biggest asset is his ability to assist and finish. This is a necessity in a system that adds depth in fast and smooth play. His increasing fame hints that he is ready to take on a big role. Nevertheless, the club of Barca can be the best place for him now.
Dusan Vlahovic
Contract of Vlahovic with Juventus is getting over very soon. He is slowly becoming a lethal striker in Serie A. At this moment, Barca could take him as a free transfer signing.
The Serbian striker has the mix of height, technique, and sharp instincts in the box. He is giving defenders little peace when he’s on the pitch. His scoring record and physicality mean the player could be a natural successor. He is offering reliable finishing and a strong presence in attack. These are the traits that are much needed for Barca’s future ambitions.
Serhou Guirassy
Guirassy might not be widely recognized, yet his rise at Borussia Dortmund cannot be overlooked. He is in Germany and has a steady goal tally that shows his strength, brains, and a solid work ethic combo. His buyout clause which is rumored could be the reason for his coming to Barca. If the club is not thinking of big spending, he can still be a cheap option for an experienced forward.
The player’s honesty, concentration in scoring, and adaptability to different game plans are all very remarkable. Thus, providing Barca with a decent option at the front if star signings are not possible.
Author’s opinion:
The replacement for Lewandowski is a challenge for sure. But, these five attackers have the talent that the team is going to hunt for the next period. If they go with Kane’s top-class experience, Osimhen’s speed, Alvarez’s adaptability, Vlahovic’s strength, or Guirassy’s underdog fighter’s attitude, the future of the front line at Camp Nou will likely be a great story to watch unfold.
