Former Leeds United man Mateusz Klich says that ex-Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is the worst player he has played against. Antonio Rudiger left Chelsea for Real Madrid two years ago though. The German international played on some occasions against the current Championship side Leeds in Premier League. Klich made the claim on his twitter account recently owing to a video in which Rudiger tackled Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski. Though he was not booked even after it was a high-boot tackle.
Zielinski is a former teammate of Klich from Poland. Consequently, the 33-year old shared the message after he would have recalled those moments against Antonio in the Premier League. He wrote on Twitter,
“Rudiger is the worst pick I have ever played. He’s a clown.”
Klich must likely be looking back to a meeting between Leeds and the Blues almost two years ago art Stamford Bridge. Though, Leeds had a few injuries that time, but they were done by two controversial penalties. Chelsea won the game 3-2 securing the winner in stoppage time. Moreover, it was none other than Antonio Rudiger who won both the penalties for his side back then. Furthermore, it was Klich who conceded a controversial penalty in the 93rd minute that eventually costed them. A big scuffle on the pitch was also seen on the pitch between Junior Firpo, Rudiger and a few other players. As a result, Klich will surely not forget the memories of the game.
Although, this is not the first time Mateusz Klich has made a tweet in recent months. He recently laughed at Max Wober claiming himself as a “warrior” upon his exit from Leeds heating up.
