Merson’s take on Garnacho and Nkunku

Speaking to Sky Sports pundit Merson said,“If I am United, I am getting that deal done, 100 percent.

“I am dropping him (Alejandro) off and picking up Nkunku. He’s a good player, he has been band unlucky at Chelsea because of (Cole) Palmer. Cole has done unbelievably well. If Man United get him, that would get a signing and a half.”

In the meanwhile, Merson doesn’t see how Chelsea can benefit from the Argentina international’s portion of the trade given the abundance of players in his position.

“I don’t get the Alejandro one, he is not better than (Jadon) Sancho, he is not better than (Pedro) Neto.

“Him and (Noni) Madueke have their days where they look really good. But it won’t be consistent enough. Yeah I don’t see where he plays, but Christopher walks into the Man Utd team.”
