“Gives his everything”: Andy Robertson praises his Liverpool teammate after Burnley win

Liverpool secured yet another win in the Premier League on Sunday. Liverpool won 3-1 and Andy Robertson was heaping praise for one teammate after Burnley game. Two goals in the second half ensured Liverpool saw off a resilient Burnley side, who remain on level points with Sheffield United at the bottom of the table.

Speaking after the game, Robertson had nothing but praise for Harvey Elliott. Moreover, it was the former Fulham man who assisted the latter two goals for the Reds. The Scottish international admitted that Elliott’s attitude and quality was just what the Reds needed. He told Liverpool’s official media channels he said,

“The last couple of weeks I’ve been coming off the bench and it’s not easy, but Harv always seems to make an impact. I thought he was different class in the second half. He took the game by the scruff of the neck, started creating things, started ticking us over. He was excellent the wee man so fair play to him. His attitude’s always spot on, he always gives his all for this team and that’s what we need, it’s a full squad effort.”

Coming into this Reds side and making an impact is a hard thing to do but Elliott has done that really well. Although it was a slow start, but he’s showing why Liverpool were keen on him so much. He is now a constant for the senior squad and gets appearance in almost every game. If he can keep up the good work he has done till now, the management will be forced to keep him for a longer time and become a club legend.
