Graeme Souness likes the attitude of Chelsea player who is a target for Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur are in a hunt for Chelsea man Conor Gallagher this January. Graeme Souness now says that he likes the attitude of Chelsea man and can be a great addition for Hotspur. Although he is not a fan of Gallagher as a player, he praises his attitude as a professional. The former Liverpool legend also notes that despite spending a lot of money, the Blues are lacking a quality striker. He also believes that former European champions do not have enough leaders in the team.

Speaking on the English midfielder, Souness doubts on his leadership skillls. Nevertheless, The Independent reports that Tottenham are keen on him. Reports also suggest that Chelsea want £45m guaranteed fee. Souness said,

It looks to me like they don’t have any real leaders. Connor Gallagher has been captain on some occasions and when you watch him play, there’s nothing to dislike.

Good technically. Good athlete. Tremendous attitude. But is there that presence in the dressing room and beyond where others would be seeing him as their leader?”

Gallagher will be a good addition for the North London club. He is one of the best young midfielders in the Premier League and is also very young. He is a very dynamic midfielder who loves going forward and also holds the game in the middle of the park. Similarly, Ange is a man who loves playing attacking and dynamic football. Consequently, the English man can be a great reinforcement in terms of his playing style and position in the squad. Though it looks very difficult to convince him leaving his current club as Chelsea are also not performing well and would love to keep a good player in their squad.
