Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has finally broken his silence on the red bull budget cap breach issue.
Red Bull came into the news for a rumored budget cap breach almost a month ago. FIA was analyzing the budget cap breach of every team during the 2021 season.
The governing body made its investigation results public just after the Japanese Grand Prix where Max Verstappen bagged his second world title.
Red Bull came out to be the only team that breached the 2021 budget cap while Aston Martin was found guilty of a procedural breach.
Red Bull is at fault for “minor” overspending during the 2021 season.
FIA is yet to announce any penalties while most expect it to be a mere fine Red Bull continues to deny any budget breach. Red Bull firmly believes that its submission was below the budget cap.
Red Bull boss Christian Horner has also defended the Milton-Keynes-based outfit.

Many senior members and personalities in the paddock have reacted to the issue. Haas team principal Guenther Steiner becomes the latest person to join the list of Italian wanting FIA to “take actions”:
“There must be consequences,”
Steiner insisted.
“I think the FIA must take action.“
“It doesn’t have to be tomorrow but it does need to be worked through so we set a sign for the future that no one else can do it or you don’t just get an advantage by breaking the rules and paying a fine. But I think it has to be very carefully thought about how it is approached.”
The budget cap breach scandal is yet to conclude. Rivals Mercedes and Ferrari have been long pressing for a major penalty for the outfit.
