Paris Saint-Germain is closing in on signing Chelsea player Hakim Ziyech. Hakim Ziyech is close to departing with the Blues after many speculations. The player is reportedly finishing his medical at PSG as of today. PSG have made a last-minute dash for the player before the transfer window closes. They had approached Chelsea on a last-minute transfer offer which was accepted by them. The player had apparently landed in Paris to progress the deal. The player might join the PSG team on a loan deal for the rest of the season. Hakim Ziyech wanted to leave the Blues for quite some time now. It was given that he will leave the club by the end of the season. However, it was not known where he would end up. PSG looks to be the player’s next destination.

Hakim Ziyech has been a Chelsea player since 2020. The player joined the Blues from Ajax back in 2020. He have struggled with consistency since joining Chelsea. Hakim Ziyech have failed to cement his place at Stamford Bridge. He have struggled with injuries and poor performances. All these reasons played a major role in the downfall of the player. However, he have attracted other elite clubs with his recent performances at the World Cup. The recent World Cup was the major highlight in his Chelsea career. But ironically, he was picked regularly by Graham Potter after the World Cup. The forward had finally found some regular time at the Chelsea team. But this was short-lived as he is soon joining the Ligue 1 side.
The regular time at Stamford Bridge did not deter Hakim Ziyech from his decision to leave the club. PSG are looking to finalize the deal before the deadline day. The player would be the first outgoing player from Chelsea. The Blues could lose some of their big-name players by the end of this season.
