Hansi Flick clashes with Deco amidst Chelsea duo transfer links

Manager Hansi Flick would clash with Sporting Director Deco. The two had disagreements over Barcelona moving in for the Chelsea duo. The Bluagarana are willing to make a huge swoop from the Blues in January. Apparently, they are willing to lure two players away in the winter transfer window. Deco is a huge admirer of Romeo Lavia and Carney Chukwuemeka. So he wants the Spanish giants to make a move for the duo. But the manager is unhappy with the approach. As a result, both of them are in a state of disagreement. It will be interesting to see if they are able to work this out.

Should Barcelona sign the Chelsea duo?

Deco wants the team to grow stronger and so does Hansi Flick. But, will the Chelsea duo be the right way to go? For starters, Romeo Lavia has been great this season. But, at the same time, he is injury prone. He went on to miss almost the entire last season because of the same. On the other hand, Carney Chukwuemeka is a Chelsea outcast. So, signing him would improve the squad is not really a guarantee. He sure has a lot of potential. But, he will have to up his game by a lot to fit in.

Hansi Flick vs Deco: Who is right?

Both of them want to help Barcelona ofc. Signing the duo would improve their squad depth for sure. But, it is quite debatable whether it would actually make them stronger. As per teamtalk, the manager does not want the signing to happen at all. In fact, he would rather conserve resources and use other players from La Masia. Meanwhile, the Sporting Director is looking for alternatives as the current midfielders are also injury prone. At the same time, Ilkay Gundogan made a return to Man City. So, both Hansi Flick and Deco have great points to make. But, they could perhaps compromise and just sign any one of the players instead. Although, given the manager is highly against the move, it is highly unlikely that we will see any such activity.
