‘I am in Pain, Need your prayers’: Shoaib Akthar

Former Pakistan cricketer, Shoaib Akthar, has operated on his knee. Now he has been operated and he is suffering from post-operational pain in Melbourne, Australia. He took Instagram and shared that he’s suffering from pain and he needs his fans to pray for his full recovery. And he hopes that this will be the last surgery he undergoes.

Shoaib Akthar talks about his surgery and career

 “I could have played for another four to five years. But I was aware that if he did, I would become wheelchair-bound. That’s the reason why I retired from cricket”

He added,

“But again, it was all worth it for Pakistan. Parks of bowling fast, this is what happens, you have to lose bones, but that’s ok, if I had to do it all over again, I will do it”

Shoaib Akhtar then uploaded a video of himself on his Instagram from a health center mattress in Melbourne. The Pakistan paceman used to be emotional in the video whilst telling his followers the surgical treatment went nicely and asking for top desires for his recovery. 

we all know how Shoaib Akthar performed with the ball. The legendary Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akthar, played in 14 T20Is, 46 Tests, and 163 ODIs for Pakistan. He picked up 247 wickets in One Day International and 178 wickets in tests. He also took 21 wickets in T20s. And he was the first bowler to bowl a 100 mph delivery.
