“I don’t think”: Simon Jordan shares his views on latest Liverpool target replacement for Klopp

Simon Jordan issues his verdict on Liverpool searching for a replacement to Jurgen Klopp. Jordan believes that Thomas Frank, latest Liverpool target, may not be the right choice.

Jurgen Klopp silenced the footballing world after announcing that he will leave Anfield the following season last month. Since then, there have been numerous options linked with the Merseyside club. One of them is current Brentford boss, Thomas Frank.

Frank has been doing an inspirational job for the Bees in the past few years. He took the club out of Championship and then finishing mid-table twice in the previous campaigns. The Bees ended up being on ninth spot last season as well. However, tables are looking turned so far as Brentford are on the verge of a relegation battle. Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan says Brentford have enough to sustain their spot in the top tier before commenting on Liverpool situation.

“I think they’ve got a very good manager. They’ve had a couple of difficult games, but what did you expect Brentford to get from Spurs and from Manchester City? Not a lot. And of course, I know that the games before that, they haven’t won many games.

I think Thomas Frank is a good manager. I’ve heard people indexing him to the Liverpool job. I don’t think that’s the right fit. But notwithstanding it, I think he’s a good manager.”

The corridors of power at Liverpool will be looking for an option that may not create sn unrest among fans. Xabi Alonso is the most talked option among fans and media owing to his connection with the club and latest form with Bayer Leverkusen. However, he is also a novice in managerial world and may take some time to prove his worth. Nevertheless, Frank is a quality manager but may not a perfect fit to manage such a massive club right now. He will be a talk of the town in the Liverpool’s management but other options are also there.
