Rabada was brilliant in leading the Proteas’ spectacular victory against England. It was at the iconic North London ground where the right arm sealed his name to the Honours Board at Lord’s for the first time. The respect cane as he bagged seven wickets in a devastating style.

The efforts from Rabada enabled South Africa to don the World Test Championship Table. However, it also earned him a jump of two places to third in the new Test bowler rankings.

On Wednesday, the ICC published their newest player rankings. South African players as a whole got massive achievements after a dominant display at the Lords.

Anrich Nortje, fellow pacer trembled the English batters. He scalped six wickets in the match. Henceforth, he climbed 14 blocks to 25th in the Test rankings for bowlers.

However, Australian test captain Pat Cummins (891 rating points) and India veteran spinner Ravi Ashwin (842) tops the list for bowlers. Nonetheless, Rabada (836) is breathing over their shoulders in the 12th spot. He grabbed a five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
