A star striker from Botafogo, Igor Jesus rejects Arsenal opening bid for them to sign him.
Arsenal and their frontline problems:
Arsenal are in the lookout for a striker who will haelp them to finally score more goals and make them win the league. They have already been struggling a lot lately because of their striker problems. Their dependency on set pieces have not been helping them either in the long run as well. Kai Havertz have not been too good either in my opinion. He have been scoring very less goals too. Saka have been under a lot of pressure because of their dependency on him to win them the matches as well.
Igor Jesus reportedly rejected Arsenal bid:
Arsenal already tried to sign a lot of striker but they failed recently. They are now trying to sign Cunha. However, he already signed a deal with the Wolves verbally so he will not be going to the Emirates either. The Gunners tried to sign a star striker from Botafogo. Igor Jesus rejected Arsenal reportedly. The Striker joined Botafogo from the Saudi League side, ย Shabab Al-Ahli. In just 31 appearances, he scored 8 goals. The player also made five assists as well. He have a release clause of โฌ100 million from the club. The Gunners may try to sign him permanently for โฌ20 million. However, the club is not looking forward to let him go for a loan.
Author’s opinion:
Igor Jesus rejected Arsenal probably because of the pressure from his club. Arsenal should really act fast and try finding a striker who will give them a lot of goals and make them win the Premier League finally. The Gunners have been on a good run and just a bit more consistency will make them win the Premier League. A striker who can score more than 20 or 30 goals a season will be good enough for them. Mikel Arteta should quickly sign a striker before the transfer window closes and it gets too late.
