India Women grab good spots in ODI and T20I rankings after defeating Sri Lanka

Members of the India women’s cricket team have gained great rankings after the current series against Sri Lanka.

Opener Shafali Verma has gone to an all-time high ranking of 36 in the ODI rankings.

In the T20Is, Verma is now fifth after being at the top spot some time back.

India allrounder Deepti Sharma has also risen in her rankings.

She is 29th on the batting charts and 16th on the bowling charts respectively.

In the all-rounders’ charts, Deepti is seventh and one point behind Ashleigh Gardener who is occupying the sixth place.

Other India women members who have got significant gains are Pooja Vastrakar, Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Meghna Singh.

Renuka Singh who was the best bowler in the Sri Lanka series with her seven wickets jumped up several spots to gain 65th position in the bowling rankings.

India completely decimated Sri Lanka in both the ODI and T20I series.

India women also shared a joint spot with Pakistan women in the IWC points table after beating Sri Lanka women 2-0 in the ODI series.
