What to Expect (PITCH REPORT):

Dhoni ready for CSK vs DC action Dream11

The second match of the IPL 2021 will be played in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Wankhede is one of the highest-scoring venues in the IPL. The average first innings score in 2019 was 176, and teams have scored well above 200 on several occasions.

It is a batsman-friendly pitch with some help for the seamers as well. Looking at the hitters in this match we can expect a big score. With due might come into play later on in the second innings, whoever wins the toss is expected to bowl first.

Probable Playing XIs for CSK vs DC:

Chennai Super Kings: Faf du Plessis, Robin Uthappa/Ruturaj Gaikwad, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (C&WK), Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar, and Shardul Thakur.

Delhi Capitals: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane/Steve Smith, Rishabh Pant (C&WK), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Chris Woakes, Ravi Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma/Tom Curran, and Umesh Yadav.

Top Picks and Captains choice for CSK vs DC Dream11 Match:

Bowlers:

Shardul Thakur: He has done remarkably well in the blue kit for India in the recent series against England. He took 4/67 against England in the final ODI match. Plenty will rest on whether he can find early rhythm in the match.

Ravichandran Ashwin: Who can forget Ashwin’s heroics against Australia and England in the test series. The experienced spinner will be key to DC’s spin attack in IPL 2021.

Dwayne Bravo: The so-called death over specialist all-rounder turned bowler can ball some very crucial overs at the end and pick some important wickets for his team.

Batsmen:

Shikhar Dhawan: He was the second-highest run-scorer in the last edition of the tournament. He scored 618 runs in 17 innings at a strike rate of 144.73. Dhawan was mightily impressive in the ODI series against England as well. One can back this experienced player to have an impact on this game.

Faf du Plessis(alternate captain): He might not be in the form of his life but he has shown some consistency scoring 30+ scores in 2 of the last 4 T20 matches. It might be superstitious to believe in the fact that South Africans always tend to do well against Delhi.

Wicketkeepers:

Rishabh Pant(captain): He didn’t had a great IPL season last year but he has been in red hot form in International cricket. The left-handed wicket-keeper batsman has produced some match-winning performances across formats in his recent matches. he must be one of the top picks for anybody in this match.

All- Rounders:

Marcus Stoinis(Vice-captain): He is a valuable player for any team he plays for. His recent form with the bat looks quite good as he scored 78 runs from just 37 deliveries in the last match he played against New Zealand. He can also produce some wickets in the middle overs.

Ravindra Jadeja: He is returning from injury but is a vital cog in the CSK line-up. The left-handed all-rounder can have an impact on either side of the innings with his capability of batting and bowling.
