KKR vs MI – What to Expect (PITCH REPORT):

There have been two games played at Chepauk so far and the scores have been 159,160,187, and 177. Looking at the past scores on this ground one can predict the scores won’t be touching the sky in this match. While the new ball likely to skid on nicely under the lights, the pitch should slow down as the match progresses.

Looking at the results of the last two matches there is no advantage in batting or bowling first as the results have been even on both the side. Although, due might play a big role in the 2nd innings so both the teams will be looking to bowl first.

Probable Playing XIs:

Kolkata Knight Riders: Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Andre Russell, Eoin Morgan (Captain), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Shakib Al Hasan, Pat Cummins, Harbhajan Singh / Kuldeep Yadav/ Shivam Mavi, Varun Chakravarthy, Prasidh Krishna.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Quinton de Kock, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Marco Jansen/ Jimmy Neesham, Rahul Chahar/ Piyush Chawla, Jasprit Bumrah.

Top Picks and Captains choice for KKR vs MI Dream11 Match:

Jasprit Bumrah: He would be confident coming into this match as he kept his side in the game till the very last over in the previous game. He has now taken 12 wickets in his last 5 T20 matches.

Pat Cummins: When you talk about a proper pace bowler he is the one you are talking about. He only took one wicket in the last match but was quite economical and picked the most crucial wicket of the match by sending Jonny Bairstow back to the pavilion.

Rohit Sharma(Captain): He looked in good touch against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The Indian opener was unlucky to get run out in the last game but he played exceptionally well in the last T20 game against England before joining the MI squad for IPL. In the last International T20, he scored 64 runs off just 34 balls. He is a must-pick for this game.

Nitish Rana: He looked in phenomenal form with the bat in the last match, Scoring 80 of just 56 deliveries. Rana’s current form looks pretty good as he has scored 60+ runs in 3 of his last 5 T20 games.

Ishan Kishan: He played a good knock for his 28 in just 19 balls in the middle overs in the last game. He can provide the acceleration in the middle overs for the team. He has now scored 25+ runs in 4 of his last 5 T20 matches.

All- Rounders:

Andre Russell(Vice-Captain): Apart from his explosive batting he can be a handy customer with the ball too. As he picked up the wicket of Vijay Shankar and gave only 6 runs in the 18th over of the match. He showed that he can ball some crucial death overs for his team.

Hardik Pandya(alternate Vice-Captain): He might have had a quiet game with the bat and ball against RCB in the last match but he looked in good touch against England in the recent ODI series. He is a must-pick as he can turn the game on his day.
