Defending champions Mumbai Indians are going to face Kolkata Knight Riders in Chennai in the Indian Premier League on April 13. KKR have won their first match by 10 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad but MI had lost their opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Both teams have balanced sides and the fans are waiting to watch an exciting clash between them.
The team is now in a positive mindset after their first win against SRH. The top-order batsmen had played really well specially Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi. The cameo of Karthik was also brilliant. So there may be no change in the batting for the upcoming match.
The bowling was also very good specially in the powerplay. The pace duo Krishna and Cummins had beautifully executed their plans. The spin bowlers had gone for runs. Only Shakib has picked a wicket among the spinners.
Harbhajan Singh had bowled only one over. We may see Shivam Mavi in the next match replacing him.
Chris Lynn batted so well in the opening match. But Quinton de Kock will be out of quarantine and likely to be opening for the side. In the first match, Rahul Chahar was much expensive for the side. So experienced Piyush Chawla may be brought into the playing XI.
Marco Jensen was impressive in his debut and likely to stay in the XI. Though Pollard couldn’t do that much in the first game the team will be looking at him to deliver.

KKR vs MI: What to expect
The pitch is not the traditional turning and slow pitch. There is something for bowlers and batsmen if they can adapt to the nature of the pitch. Winning the toss it will be good to bat first and put 180+ runs in the first innings. Both the teams have power hitters and the chase will be interesting to see.

Shakib Al Hasan and Varun Cha:kravarthy will be spinners in this game. Pat Cummins, Prasidh Krishna will be the first bowlers. Harbhajan Singh or Shivam Mavi can play. We may see Kuldeep also.
