The Indian Premier League (IPL) has crossed the halfway landmark. The second half is started already. Tonight Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Ahmedabad.

KKR are struggling to find the path of win. There are lots of controversies going on among the players and supporting staff. The team will be looking to make things good again. They must get two valuable points tonight.

RCB are in a good position right now. They are in the third position now with 10 points from 7 matches. They have already beaten this team earlier this season. They will be looking to repeat that.

Inside KKR:

KKR opening pair is struggling for the last couple of matches. The head coach has already given hint to make some crucial changes in the team. Either Gill or Rana or maybe both may be benched. Tripathi is doing good.

Russell has to bat long to build a good toal

The skipper Morgan is also inconsistent with his batting performance. Russell and Dinesh Karthik are trying to rescue the team. But every time it is not possible for them. Sunil Narine with the bat is horrifying.

The good news is Cummins is again picking wickets regularly and going less expensive. Mavi is going quite expensive in the last couple of matches. Varun Chakravarthy is also struggling to get wickets.

Inside RCB:

Recently the batting is not going so well. Maxwell is scoring low runs in the last couple of matches. Virat Kohli is also silent. Rajat Patidar has scored some runs but his strike rate is not so impressive.

AB Devilliers is taking on lots of responsibilities. Harshal Patel, the purple cap holder is picking wickets in every Match. Aussie All-rounder Sams played well and got wickets. Jamieson is also doing well.

Chahal is also in a good phase and picking up wickets. Siraj is bowling crucial overs and a very economic bowler for the team.
