IPL 2021 came to an end on October 15. The final battle was between CSK and KKR. Both teams are successful in IPL throughout the years. Before this match, CSK were three times winner and KKR has won the title two times. Thus clearly it was a match between the scholars of IPL. Although CSK clinched their 4th title but who clinched the most awards in the IPL 2021.
KKR managed to get a good start which was required after Rahul Tripathi got injured while fielding in the first half. Though, Chennai Super Kings was able to set a winning target. And the average form of the middle order of Kolkata Knight Riders couldn’t take the game near. CSK bowlers did a great job and restricted KKR in the middle overs to hit boundaries. The pressure got carried away and KKR was unable to chase the score.
Although, there was a couple of instances when Kolkata had the chance to come back. But poor execution in batting was the reason for the KKR’s defeat. They slipped from 91/0 to 125/8 in just a couple of balls. And then there was no coming back after that.
A great batting performance from the Chennai Super Kings. The target for Kolkata Knight Riders was 194 but they could only score 165 while chasing.
The season ended with a lot of prizes for the players who proved themselves in the tournament.

CSK fought till the end. As a result, they reclaimed their IPL throne back by defeating KKR in the IPL 2021 final on Friday in Dubai.
