Mumbai Indians(MI) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) today in Chennai in the Indian Premier League.

MI have got back their momentum after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in their last match. On the other side, SRH are in search of their first win of the season.

Inside MI:

Mumbai have started well in the previous match. The kind of pitch they are batting on is difficult. But Surya Kumar is in great form. The skipper Rohit Sharma also looking quite confident.

Ishan Kishan and Pollard had not fired yet. Batting of lower order is a matter of concern for the team. We may see Jimmy Neesham replacing Marco Jensen to add more batting depth in the lineup.

Surya Kumar is outstanding form for MI

Inside SRH:

SRH are lacking power hitters as well as experience in their lower middle order. They have tried Nabi then Holder but they failed to deliver with the bat. Vijay Shankar is also not in good form.

So today we may see Kane Williamson replacing Bairstow in the playing XI. Kedar Jadhav also should be included in place of Shankar for this kind of pitch.

Shabaz Nadeem was expensive but may continue. Jason Roy is out of quarantine and available for selection.

Holder has picked three wickets in last match in IPL

MI vs SRH: What to expect

The pitch of Chennai has acted very strangely in the last couple of games. The pitch is getting slower as the match progresses rather than turning. Batting in the last 5 overs is really tough. Teams will like to bat first and will target to put 160+ runs on board.

Probable XI of MI:

Though de Kock couldn’t score many runs, we will see him opening with Rohit. Suryakumar Yadav, Ishaan Kishan will continue. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya will also feature in this match. Pollard will also play on this kind of surface.

Rahul Chahar is in great form of bowling. We may see only change if Neesham comes in.
