The teams with new and young captains will head to head today in the Indian Premier League 2021. Rajasthan Royals(RR) and Delhi Capitals(DC) will be playing today at Wankhede Stadium.

DC had won their last match against Chennai Super Kings and in a good shape. But RR had lost a chase against Punjab Kings in their opening match.

Inside RR:

Injury is a big threat to all teams. But RR is having more and more trouble this year. After Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes got injured in the first match. He has been ruled out for this season.

RR has suffered in their first match a lot. Only Sanju Samson was impressive with the bat and scored a century. The debutant Chetan Sakariya was also very impressive. Dube and Buttler got runs but failed to convert them into big scores.

Morris and Mustafizur are taking care of the bowling. But in pitch like Wankhede RR will be looking to score more. Today we may see David Miller or Liam Livingstone in place of Stokes.

Sanju Samson scored the first century of IPL 2021

Inside DC:

In absence of Nortje and Rabada, DC had elected Tom Curran and Woakes to bowl. They did well in their first match. But today Rabada can return into the playing XI. So Curran may be benched today.

Nortje has been tested Covid Positive, so he will miss this game too. Axar Patel is also not available for selection. In spite of these hurdles, DC is in good shape. Dhawan and Prithvi are in excellent form.

Stoinis need to bowl more consistently. We may see Hetmyer continue in the playing XI.
