IPL 2021: RCB vs KKR Dream11 Prediction, all you need to know

It is time for the first double-header of this year’s Dream11 Indian T20 League. We will be kicking off with the clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Kolkata would be disappointed with their last match performance as they surrender the game to Mumbai Indians (MI) from a run a ball situation in their previous match.

On the other side of the 22 yards, we have Bangalore, who are yet to be beaten in this year’s competition. RCB will be coming into this match on cloud 9 as they are having a perfect start to their campaign this year. The addition of Maxwell to their squad has really given them a good balance and Glenn has also impressed one and many with the way he has played so far.

It would be interesting to see if KKR becomes the first team to beat RCB this year or the men in the reds will be able to continue their undefeated streak in the competition.

Match Details:

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Venue: MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai

Live Streaming: Star Sports Network, Disney+ Hotstar

Time: 7:30 PM IST

What to Expect (PITCH REPORT):

The pitch in MA Chidambaram Stadium has not been an easy track to bat on. It is not the one where Batsmen can come and start firing from the ball 1. Settling down is a crucial part of this pitch. The matches played on this track so far have been in favour of the side batting first rather than following the tradition of chasing in IPL.

Probable Playing XIs for RCB vs KKR:

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli(c), Devdutt Padikkal, Shahbaz Ahmed, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers(w), Washington Sundar, Daniel Christian, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan(c), Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik(w), Shakib Al Hasan, Pat Cummins, Harbhajan Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakravarthy.

Top Picks and Captains choice for RCB vs KKR Dream11 Match:

Pat Cummins: He looks in pretty decent form with the ball and has proved why he is a higher ranked bowler in the world of cricket. He picked up 2 crucial wickets conceding just 24 runs in his previous match.

Harshal Patel: He started his campaign with a five-wicket haul in the tournament and opted for the spot of leading wicket-taker in the competition. He also picked two crucial wickets conceding only 25 runs in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Virat Kohli: He has got decent scores in the last two matches but has failed to convert it into a match-winning inning. He scored 33 runs from 29 deliveries in each of his last two matches. No doubt he is a consistent performer.

Nitish Rana: He is the man in form of his life. He has looked impressive with the bat scoring half-centuries in all the matches he has played in this year’s IPL. He kicked off his campaign with a blazing 80 runs knock and worked hard for his 57 of just 47 balls in the last game. he is a must-pick.

AB de Villiers: He had one of those rare games in the last match where he could get the runs even in double digits but he kicked off his season with a match-winning knock of 48 runs from just 27 balls. He is a must-pick.
