The two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders will be clashing with Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chennai tomorrow in Indian Premier League 2021. KKR hadn’t qualified for the playoffs last season, SRH had qualified but couldn’t lift the trophy.

SRH had brought Jason Roy, Mujeeb ur Rahman and experienced Kedar Yadav in the squad for this season. KKR also has brought in some experienced cricketers like Shakib Al Hasan, Harbhajan Singh, Ben Cutting.

Inside KKR:

First of all, there is no injury issue and a full KKR squad is available for selection. They have plenty of options there in each section. The inclusion of Shakib has given the team a good dimension as well.

KKR will be dependent on Russell magic

Both the Carebeans Russell and Narine were silent last season. KKR will be looking at their form as well. KKR have a bunch of Indian fast bowlers. Mavi, Prasidh Krishna, Nagarkoti, Sandeep Warrier, and others can have a good opportunity this year.

Varun Chakravarthy will be in command of Spin. it will be interesting to see how much game Harbhajan and Kuldeep get.

Inside SRH:

SRH has plenty of firepower in the top order like the previous season. This season the addition of Jason Roy will give them more options. Kedar Yadav can be a crucial player for them in the middle order.

Williamson will an important player for SRH

The return of Bhuveneshwar Kumar is very important for the SRH side. There is no famous pace bowler on this side. So SRH have to rely on their Indian Pacers.
