Is Apple ‘interested’ to buy Manchester United?

According to previous reports, technology giant ‘Apple’ was not interested to buy one of the biggest clubs Manchester United at £6B-£7B. But now Apple finally gave their verdict and denied all rumors of buying Manchester United.

Three weeks ago, The Red Devil’s American owners, the Glazers announced officially that they want to sell the club. In the official statement they said;

“As we seek to continue building on the Club’s history of success, the Board has authorized a thorough evaluation of strategic alternatives. We will evaluate all options to ensure that we best serve our fans and that Manchester United maximizes the significant growth opportunities available to the Club today and in the future.”

Apple’s interest to buy Manchester United is completely false

After spreading the rumors of Apple’s interest in United, MacRumors reported that these all rumors are completely false. The tech giant is not at all interested to buy the Red Devils. They stated;

“Our source with direct knowledge of the situation said the report is false.”

Other Buyers for Red Devils

After publishing the club’s official statement, many names were revealed as potential buyers such as Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia investors and Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Elon musk also expressed his wish to buy a sports club in the future. However, later he said it was a joke and he is not serious. A few weeks ago, the former Irish UFC fighter Mc Conor Gregor has also stated that he would like ‘to buy a football club at some stage.
Moreover, there’re many multinational companies whose names appeared in the potential buyer’s lists like Apple, Zara, and now Amazon too.

Well, in the coming days, people will witness more names will be linked to United. But for now, most of the rumored buyers have pulled out their leg from the bidding. They considered the price between £6-£7B to be unrealistic and too high.
