According to 90min, European champions Chelsea alongside many other Premier League clubs are keen to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.

Reliable football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Juventus star Paulo Dybala is set to leave the Italian giants Juventus on a free transfer in the summer. The Argentine forward is out of contract in the summer. The two sides looked set to agree upon a new contract to keep the forward at the club beyond the season. But Juventus decided to change their proposal and the talks between the two parties broke down.

The Argentine forward was considered one of the best in the world. But the forward has struggled in the recent season. Despite the struggles, the forward has still shown his class and talent on his day. Paulo Dybala has made a total of 29 appearances across all competitions this term. In this time he has a decent goal involvement. He has recorded 13 goals and six assists. (stats via Transfermarkt)

With the Argentine forward set to leave on a free transfer. Dybala has been linked with top clubs across Europe. The likes of PSG, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Chelsea are all interested in the Argentinian forward’s services.

Is Paulo Dybala the perfect fit for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea?

Chelsea have made two high profile striker signings in the past two summer windows. Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner have both tired and failed to lead the line for the blues. The expectation was particularly high with Romelu Lukaku’s return to the club in the summer. But the Belgium striker has lost his place in the starting lineup to Kai Havertz. The controversial interview with Sky Italia did not help the striker’s cause either.

But Chelsea’s woes up top might be coming to an end as the club is linked with signing Paulo Dybala on a free transfer. Paulo Dybala could be the perfect strike partner for Kai Havertz. The duo could form a formidable partnership in attack for the blues. The 28-year-old would really compliment Thomas Tuchel’s system and he could also return to his best in the Chelsea shirt.

PSG star Kylian Mbappé looks set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer. Reports suggest that PSG are interested in signing Romelu Lukaku to replace the French star at Le Parc des Princes. Reports also suggest that Chelsea are willing to let the striker walk out of the club for a fee close to what they paid to bring bim back to the club in the summer.
