Jose Enrique recommends Liverpool to target Saka as the perfect Salah replacement?

Former Liverpool player Jose Enrique speaking to Genting Casino about Mohamed Salah’s contract talks and potential replacement for the winger, he said:

“It won’t be easy to replace Salah, but there are players who could replace him; Raphinha could be one, I really like Bukayo Saka,”

“He’s very young, but maybe he could become a player close to Salah one day. This kind of player could do the job.”

“But if you let Salah go and pay £80million for Saka, plus the salary, it doesn’t make sense to me,”

The 20-year-old has been in a key part of Arsenal‘s bid for Champions League football. The club are currently 4th in the Premier League table. The England international is one of the biggest prospects in world football at the moment. The winger has made a total of 32 appearances across all competitions this term. In this time he has recorded nine goals and five assists in all competitions this term. (stats via Transfermarkt)

Liverpool may be able to tempt the English prospect to join them if Arsenal misses out on Champions League football at the end of the season. While there is still a possibility that Salah may sign a new deal at the club.
