Jamie Carragher says he noticed a huge change in 25-year old Liverpool superstar this season

Former Liverpool star, Jamie Carragher, has claimed that he saw a big change in one club player. Jamie says that he noticed a huge change in the personality of Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander Arnold.

There’s been a lot of change at Liverpool this season, and there will be even more changes ahead with Jurgen Klopp set to leave the club. Though, change is a part and parcel of life, and of football as well. The Reds witnessed a huge overhaul on their midfield in the summer. Meanwhile, their defenders were also ready to step up the levels of their game. One such man is Trent Alexander Arnold. The 25-year old Englishman is having loads of experience under his belt amd Klopp righteously names him the vice-captain of the club.

Speaking on Stick to Football Podcast, Carragher praises Alexander Arnold for his change in his game and stepping up by taking the responsibility. He said,

“I feel like when I’m watching Trent Alexander-Arnold this season, even though his numbers might be the same, it’s just a body language and feeling he has got on the pitch that he’s getting older.

Jamie is spot on in his verdict about Trent. Everyone has noticed how good he is doing for the club on the field. Although its his first season as a more senior member, he has shouldered the responsibility pretty well. From his equaliser against Manchester City, to his late winner against Fulham, there is definitely a new side to Alexander-Arnold. With just 25-years of age, the defender is yet to hit his peak years which will make him an absolute beast. Moreover, with responsibilities, he will also grow himself as a leader for the team as well.
