João Cancelo have been linked with Arsenal and now Pep Guardiola himself have given the green flag to Mikel Arteta for his transfer.
The Problem with Arsenal:
the Gunners are ready to spend £35m on João Cancelo by January. The player has not really been in too much of a great form. However, Arsenal are in need of the full back because of their injury problems. The Gunners have been facing a lot of injuries since the last few months. They have already become a powerhouse in the Premier League. However, they still bottled the league a lot of times in the last decade. They mostly lost to Manchester City or Liverpool. The players and the fans are both frustrated by this. They should look forward to sign more players to at least win the Premier League. The Gunners fans are getting more and more frustrated daily because they do not understand when can they even win the League again?
The players have been perfect as well as they have been playing well and winning a lot of matches as well. However, at the end of the day, they still keeps bottling. Arsenal should look forward to at least win the Premier League this time instead of bottling it.
They should stop buying more players. At the same time, I do not blame them either because they have been facing a lot of injury issues as well. They are in need of a full back as well because Zinchenko have been pretty inconsistent as well even after being such a good player. João Cancelo will be a very good player for Arsenal and will be very useful at left back or even right back as well. Arsenal should look forward to signing him by January. They already have lost all their title hopes for this season. Maybe they can win the next season.
Will Cancelo be good for Arsenal?
Pep Guardiola already gave the green flag to Mikel Arteta for the signing of João Cancelo in January. Arsenal should absolutely sign him in my opinion. This is because he is an inverted full back. He will keep a lot of possession in the midfield as well. This is the reason why Mikel Arteta should sign him. Arsenal needs a player who will make more possession in an already strong midfield. The Gunners should not bottle the Premier League next season at least.
They should look forward to sign players who can win them trophies instead. Arsenal fans and players have been really frustrated because their team keeps losing crucial games in the Premier League which always costs them the trophy. João Cancelo was already on a loan to Bayern Munich for six months. He performed very well for them. Barcelona are also interested in him. However, because of their FFP charges, they will not be able to sign him in January. Pep Guardiola himself said that he does not really need João Cancelo in his team anymore and that is why he gave the green signal to Arsenal. Mikel Arteta being Pep’s disciple, might take such a dynamic player in his team as well.
I think João Cancelo will be a very good fit for Arsenal. The Gunners fans are expecting more from the team. The trophies should be added to the cabinet instead of players mostly. Gundogan is another one of those players whose contract will expire this January and he will also leave the Etihad for a free transfer. He will most probably join Barcelona. However, Arsenal should still try to sign him as well. They should mainly focus on players who will bring them trophies instead of losing games.
