João Felix is open to leave Chelsea at the end of the season and he might join Arsenal in the summer transfer window, as per reports.
Felix is on at loan at Stanford Bridge from Athletico Madrid at the moment. He is a versatile player, who can operate as forward, winger and attacking midfielder.
According to Cadena Cope, João Felix wants to play in the Premier League next season and specially play for a club in UEFA Champions League. He is now open to to leaving the Blues and can now join Arsenal in the summer, as per reports in the Spanish News Outlet.
However, Arsenal were linked with Felix in the January transfer window. Later, The Athletic reported the Portuguese choose to move to Chelsea over Arsenal.
Gunners could win the Premier League title this season and qualify for UEFA Champions League for next campaign. On the other hand, Chelsea are going through a treacherous season this term.
Felix has shown his talent on ocassions but he has not been very consistent. Blues are currently going through a bad phase under new ownership of Todd Boehly.
It will be very interesting in the summer if Arsenal do at all show interest in Felix again. He has scored three goals in 13 apperances so far this season for Blues. The Portuguese attacker even made three starts and one substitute apperances in Champions League this season for Chelsea.
Felix will also gather interest from other big European clubs and Arsenal need to hurry up to sign him in the summer.
