Juventus are believed to be considering Eden Hazard to replace Ronaldo after the Portuguese departed for England. Real Madrid willing to let him go to make room for Mbappe.
Ronaldo recently made a move to the Premier League. He has joined the former club Manchester United after 12 years away. The deal was reportedly worth around £30,000,000.
Hazard was brought in to replace Ronaldo at Real. However, the Belgians has struggled in Spain due to a string of injuries since. The club are now willing to offload him to accommodate Kylian Mbappe.
Juventus are already seeking replacements for the Portuguese international with Hazard topping their wishlist.
Real Madrid are looking to get Hazard’s contract off their books. While a loan is not ideal for them, it would give them financial flexibility this year. Furthermore, Hazard’s departure would free up a registration spot and the number 7 would be available for Kylian Mbappe.
Hazard joined Real Madrid two years ago and has only declined ever since. The attacker never justified the transfer fee Los Blancos paid. It would greatly Real Madrid to find an answer to their problem.
Hampered by injuries
The 30-year-old is happy to stay in the Spanish capital. He has started the opening two matches under Carlo Ancelotti this season. Nonetheless, the Belgian is concerned about his game time if Real Madrid do sign Kylian Mbappe.
Los Blancos have made an improved bid for the French forward worth £145,870,000 plus £8,580,000 in add-ons. PSG will find it hard to turn down this kind of an offer in the final few days of the transfer window.
Since his high profile move from Chelsea, Hazard has had a below par time with the Spanish giants. The winger has managed to just 45 appearances across 2 seasons, scoring just 5 times and providing 9 assists.
