Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo has reportedly agreed to join Valencia on a season-long loan deal. The midfielder is not in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for the future.
However, they have not been able to secure a permanent transfer for the midfielder this summer. Although, it seems they have found a temporary departure solution for him.
ARTHUR MELO AND VALENCIA TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY
The midfielder has been surplus to requirements at Allianz stadium. His injuries has made Juventus not consider him for games. This had led to him being transfer listed on the market. However, there are shortage of takers for the midfielder. This has also led to the Serie-A side accepting loan offers for him. It looks like Valencia are the most likely side to take Arthur on loan for the season.
According to reports, the midfielder has also given green light to the loan move. The report also states that Juventus and Valencia are yet to reach an agreement for the loan move. However, it is not supposed to be any problem. All the parties are hopeful of coming to an agreement. The Serie-A side is also going to pay a part of his salary to facilitate the loan move.
WHY DO JUVENTUS WANT TO LET ARTHUR LEAVE SO DESPERATELY?
The midfielder has had an injury-prone stint in Turin. He is also not in the plans of the manager. That is why he was left at home while others traveled to America for the pre-season. Many fans of the club also consider him one of the poor buys recently made. Hence, before every fan starts booing him, the club is desperate to find an exit solution that benefits all the parties.
Also, another reason if they manage to loan him out, Juventus will be able to bring a new midfielder who can help the side. The Serie-A side will also be hoping that his loan move is successful so that his value increases and they can get the best fee for the midfielder. The midfielder is contracted to the Italian giants till 2025. So, if he does not play well at Valencia, the midfielder will have to stay on the sidelines.
Juventus are not at all interested in having him back on the team next season. Hence, Arthur has to perform well for Valencia for his future move. The loan move is not going to include a buy option for the midfielder. So the future of the player will be in the open air.
