ARSENAL INJURY UPDATE: KAI HAVERTZ OUT FOR THE SEASON
This injury has become a problem in Arsenal. Havertz is expected to begin his rehabilitation soon after the procedure, with his return anticipated during pre-season preparations for the next campaign.
So, this injury adds to the list of the injuries Arsenal is having this season. With players like Jesus, Saka, and Martinelli out, Havertz also joined. Thus, the absence of the key players leaves the manager Mikel Arteta with limited options.
Arteta is considering Leandro Trossard in a central forward role. Thus, the winger has occasionally played as a striker and could provide a temporary solution.
The club’s decision not to secure a striker during the January transfer window. So, Arsenal has explored potential signings, including a £60 million bid for Villa’s Ollie Watkins. But, unfortunately failed to seal the deal.
A striker is missing from the team. So, they want such a player who can score in main fixtures. This squad is falling short of attacks in the critical path.
