Kai Havertz has praised Chelsea manager Graham Potter by describing him as a “Very very good coach.”
Graham Potter joined Chelsea this summer after Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Todd Boehly. Chelsea had a stuttering start of the season which led to the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel.
Under their new manager, Graham Potter Chelsea are on their way to recovery. After nine games in charge, Potter has now won six games and three draws across all competitions. The Englishman has made quite an impact after coming to a team that struggled at the start of the season.
Kai Havertz says Potter is a good coach
Chelsea striker Kai Havertz has spoken highly of Potter. Havertz scored the winner against RB Salzburg in their 2-1 win.
He said:
“I’ve only worked with him (Potter) for a few weeks, but he is a very, very good coach and time will tell how far we can go in the Champions League,”
Many questions were asked upon the arrival of Potter whether he would be a good fit for Chelsea. Potter seems to have answered his doubters about the performances of the team. His game management has been sharp, he’s tried different shapes with players which have worked effectively.
Many players have told that the training sessions have been great since the arrival of Potter. Supporters at Stamford are already enjoying the tactical plays of Potter. Chelsea fixtures are tight in this month which continues till World Cup. Upcoming matches for Chelsea are against Brighton, Arsenal, and Newcastle United.
