Karim Benzema: Arsenal’s soon gonna be bizarre signing

Arsenal is reported to pull off a Madrid-like signing. They are about to swoop Al-Ittihad‘s Karim Benzema on a short-term loan.

WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN, ARSENAL?

Even after a disappointing, horrendous season, Arsenal is thinking of adding a rusted artillery. With artillery meaning the ex Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

With players like Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and Kai Havertz, it kinda explains the attacking of Arsenal. So, they need a good striker to at least make them competitive.

Arteta’s process has taken a massive step. He could line up a stunning move for Former France international Benzema. The 36-year-old Ballon d’Or winner went to Saudi following his ex-Real team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Not only Arsenal but also Manchester United have also been linked with Benzema.

Unlike, they are another side that remains in the No. 9 hunt. If the deal is done for Benzema, it could be the greatest signing in the Premier League.

Arsenal would also be interested in Ivan Toney, a forward with Premier League pedigree, but any deal for the Brentford frontman would not come cheap. That is said to be leading the Gunners to consider stopgap solutions, with Benzema now figuring prominently in their thoughts.

A SHOCKING TRANSFER CAN CHANGE IT

Arsenal is struggling as always. Winning just one of their last seven matches in all competitions since early December.

That run of poor results does not appear to have stirred Arteta and sporting director Edu into immediate action, although there are still 11 days left in the mid-season window in which they can do business.

Many reports suggest that Arsenal should have a prolific striker. They eventually need it if they need to even stay in the race. Difficult challenges like Liverpool and Manchester City are the biggest troublemakers.

Arsenal are giving some consideration to a shock deal for Karim Benzema. The formerĀ Real MadridĀ striker only joined Al-Ittihad in the summer but is already angling for a return to Europe ā€“ and that has caught the attention of some big clubs.

Benzema may be 36 years old and approaching the end of his career, but he has a serious CV that boasts 432 goals in 816 club appearances at Lyon, Real, and Al-Ittihad. He has netted 12 in 20 games in Saudi Arabia and could follow in making a quick exit from the Middle East this month.

This can be leverage for the bigger clubs, now that a big player can come back. If Arsenal can pull this off. This can even go down as one of the most shocking transfers in football history.

A EUROPEAN COMEBACK

Transfer mastermind FabrizioĀ has claimed that although there is no concrete or serious offer yet fromĀ the Gunners, the situation could change in the final week of the window.

Benzema, 36, is reportedly unhappy in Saudi Arabia after making the switch to Al-Ittihad last summer. He could be looking for a route back to Europe, where he first made his name. He helped Real Madrid to have five Champions LeagueĀ titles and four La Liga crowns during a glittering 14-year spell.

So, Arsenal fans can hope for a mega wild-card entry. The January will tell a lot of things. With him, the attack can finally be stabilized for the Gunners. Arteta’s process can be trusted after all.

They will be keeping an eye on Karim Benzema in the final days of the January transfer window. Though, there is nothing serious or concrete at this moment.

Still, there will be one single problem with signing Benzema to a European club- the financial package.
