Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Update

The Georgia international reportedly linked to a move to Liverpool as there’s uncertainty about his future in Italy.

The Reds have been tracking his situation at Napoli. Reports suggests they could move in to sign the player amidst his current position at the Italian league leaders.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are reported to be open for negotiations with the Georgia star. He has two years of contract left in Naples. The League 1 giants have already made an impressive offer to bring him to Paris as many reports claim. Although Liverpool are not looking for a winger like him but if the right opportunity arrives they might take it with both hands. The player has many admirers at Liverpool. This could be the January transfer window’s biggest highlights if it happens.

Chelsea are also monitoring his situation and might be challenging to sign him to bring him to the Premier League. The main rivals for this signing for Liverpool would be PSG as they are looking to go all in for Kvaratskhelia.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Anfield: Slot’s Take

In an interview Arne said, “What I make of that is that this is January and I think I said after the West Ham game (to reporters), please don’t disappoint me, please come up with all these players and all these clubs that are in the interest of us

Nine out of 10 times or 99 out of 100 times, these stories come out to be untrue. So what can I comment about it? The rumours keep going for it but no comment from my side.”

Salah’s Future

Mohamed Salah surely wants to stay at Anfield till end of his career. His several interactions with publications has made that clear and he was not happy to not have received a contract extension yet. The 32 year-old Egyptian’s current deal with the Reds has six to seven months remaining. He is free to look for other options in Europe besides the Premier League club.

Louis Saha, former Premier League striker thinks Liverpool wouldn’t miss Salah, if the player leaves the club at the end of the season. Louis believes that manager Slot has enough players at his disposal to fill Salah’s position.

In conversation with Paddy Power, Saha said, “Football is not mathematical, there are human beings in every situation and Mohamed Salah may have his own wishes.

“He might have expressed things or asked things(from Liverpool). It’s going to be hard for the Reds to replace such a big player with good stats.

“But they’re probably thinking about other players and timings to do it. They have a bit of a problem as Mo Salah keeps coming out saying he’s not got an offer and that’s not helping but that’s the situation Liverpool are in.

“The style of play and the foundations they’ve managed to create is important. It could be Salah, but it could be another player too. They have that confidence and I hope they’re right.

“I wish the best for Mo because he’s an amazing player for the Premier League and I want him to stay there but who knows?”

Marmoush Update

As reported by Sky Sports, Man City had reached an agreement with Marmoush. It was reported that the Premier League giants were planning to offer a €50m move for the forward.

The Eintracht Frankfurt head coach, Dino Toppmoller, has told that City are yet to have any contact to the club regarding their star forward.

Toppmoller have dismissed the claims of the transfer rumors and said, “There is no contact between the Man City and Frankfurt. Omar will be in the squad for their upcoming games. He is having a lot of good time with the boys.

“Omar feels very comfortable and confident with the group. There have been no signs of distraction from him.”

However, some reports suggests that the striker wants to move to the Etihad Stadium as early as possible.
